Courtney Terry Photography is a Madison-based creative studio using photography as her medium to explore ideas, shape visual stories, and bring concepts to life. She uses styling, set building, and thoughtful direction to transform visions into imagery that feels natural yet elevated. Her work goes beyond simply taking photos. She collaborates closely with women-led brands, founders, and small teams to create visuals that reflect who they are and where their work is headed.

Creative Direction:

When we dug into her strategy, it became clear that she was looking for her brand to feel editorial, high end, and artistic with a touch of nostalgia. Every decision we made was rooted in that. We pulled in a bold primary font for a strong foundation along with a secondary nostalgic font. The logo layouts were designed to have editorial compositions playing with scale and structure. For the creative direction we wove in grain, paper textures, and layered materials to give the identity a tactile quality, along with a color palette that balances rich neutrals with bold primary pops of color.

Destinee is truly one of a kind. She took so much time to really understand my business and helped me discover what my brand could be. I came in feeling nervous and unsure, without a clear concept or identity, and she made the entire process feel so supported and collaborative.
