As a brand and website studio, we’ve had the joy of supporting creative women in home and lifestyle spaces that bringing intentional, story-rich brands to life. One of our favorite recent projects focused on branding interior design in a way that felt layered, lived-in, and deeply personal. We partnered with The Malish Home to create a visual identity rooted in meaning and designed to evolve alongside her growing business.
Whether you’re an interior decorator, home stylist, or lifestyle creator, we hope this behind-the-scenes look offers inspiration! Showing what’s possible when your brand feels just as thoughtful as the spaces you design. ✨
The Malish Home is an interior decorating business that helps women create homes filled with intention, beauty, and soul. Whitney, the founder, brings an incredible eye for detail and a heart for storytelling. When she reached out, her goal was to elevate her brand to reflect the depth of her work. She was also preparing to expand into new offerings, including a cooking series and a membership community.
Our job was to create branding that felt warm and true to her voice while giving her the flexibility to grow with ease.🤎
When we begin any branding interior design project, we always ask: How do we want people to feel when they experience this brand? For Whitney, the answer was clear: comforting, collected, and familiar, like stepping into a thoughtfully designed space.
To bring that vision to life, we created:
Whitney’s strong sense of story guided the entire process. From the very beginning, she shared a clear vision rooted in her Louisiana heritage and personal symbolism. These thoughtful touches added beauty and built emotional connection, helping potential clients feel something meaningful before they even meet her.🫶🏼
To support her growing business, we developed a full brand identity, including two sub-brands: The Malish Kitchen (her cooking series) and The Guest Suite (her upcoming membership). Each piece was designed to feel cohesive and intentional.
Her color palette featured organic, moody tones that felt elegant and calming, perfect for interiors while still feeling elevated. Verywell Mind explains how color psychology shapes emotional response, which is why palette selection is never random!
We paired these hues with typography that balanced refinement and approachability. The result was a brand that’s calm, clear, and grounded in warmth, just like the spaces Whitney designs.🤎

If you’re in the home or interiors industry, you already know the power of aesthetics. However, your visual identity isn’t just about looking polished. It’s also about showing potential clients that you bring the same care and intentionality to your own brand that you bring to their spaces.
We’ve seen firsthand how branding helps interior designers and decorators:
Working on branding interior design projects like Whitney’s reminds us why we do what we do. A well-designed brand becomes a quiet reflection of who you are and how you serve.
One thing that made this project so fulfilling was the trust Whitney brought to the process. She came with meaningful ideas like symbolism, personal stories, beautiful details and gave us the creative freedom to bring it all to life visually. 🫶🏼
